Marlie Holiday Park Review.

Heyaa!

Okay, so I promised this review and I didn't want to keep you guys waiting so I thought that I'd do it today since it's the only day this week that I have no plans. If you are wondering what 'Marlie Holiday Park' is. It's just a holiday park that is close to the seaside and is located in New Romney, Kent. You can check out their site HERE for more information on the park.

Accomendation: The living accommodations were pretty good if you ask me. It wasn't superb but it wasn't bad either. We walked into the caravan and it seemed like we were walking into a little house. There was a good sized living room with a small TV and the whole living, dining and kitchen area was joined together. There were 2 little rooms which could only fit in a bed and a little pathway to walk in. This was quite bad as we did order a caravan for 6 but got one for 4 people. The bed sheets and covers were there. But again, it was as if there was only 4 people living there. My mum and my brother ended up sleeping on the sofa for the first night and they had been covered with one double cover which didn't work as only my brother could be covered by it as you couldn't open the sofa up so my mum didn't sleep next to my brother. The second day we got more used to the caravan and figured out what's best. There was one bedroom which had two little beds and 2 single bed covers. We moved the 2 beds together and made it into a bigger double bed so that my brother and mum could have separate covers and that room could have 1 double cover. During out stay all of the lights suddenly switched off but we got free help from the holiday park staff and it was fixed in no time.

Place: Overall, the place where the holiday park is situated is very rural. There is a shop in the holiday park but it closes quite early and doesn't really have a lot of things. If you are lucky and have a car, it'll be no problem for you to drive around as bigger towns are not too far off (for a car). The closest bigger shop is Sainsbury which is about a 10-15 minute walk from the park. Further down is a few more shops as there is a small town (heart of New Romney). We were quite disappointed at the long walks we had to make to the beach everyday (But hey.. It was worth it). There was about a 20-30 minute walk to the beach and it took as quite some time to find the quickest way to get there. (walking through fields in the middle of the dark isn't a good idea). There is a visitor's center near by which has a few 'wild' parks. There are fields filled with rabbits, sheep, dragonflies etc.

Staff and other people: The staff were really kind and helpful. There is no bad thing I could say about them. The people around... Some were nice, some not so much. Some people looked at us like creeps. Some people were actually really friendly. It all mattered on the people you managed to bump into.

Fun and entertainment: There were many fun activities held for the children to do every day and night. Everyday at 18:00 there would be a mini disco for the kids. Sometimes there were theater performances for children. There were 2 little playgrounds that children could play in. There was a small swimming pool which is also fun for the kids and adults. There were adult pool sessions every morning. There was bingo and prizes to win every night. There was a bar with a pool table. We were lucky to go there whilst Kye Sons was there (he wan the x-factor UK in 2012). He sang and took pictures with everybody.

Conclusion: I believe that I've covered everything on this topic (hopefully). I think it was a really nice place and I'd love to go off and visit it again. I would recommend it (especially if you have a car as it would help you tremendously).
