Hello Lovelies!

Side Note: So, I was planning to post this review up yesterday but sadly I had some problems with my camera and couldn't upload the pictures on my laptop. I fixed it now so I' sorry for the delay. But hey, better late than never, right?

The Review:

Why I Brought It+Price: Lately, I have been on a look out for a new eye make-up remover because I find cleansing wipes not really the most sensitive option for my sensitive eyes. When I went to Boots and saw this product on the shelf, I thought 'YES! That's it!'. The word 'soothing' got to me immediately and I couldn't resist buying it. It's  full name is 'Botanics The Power Of Plants Soothing Eye Makeup Remover' from the range 'All Bright'. It is only sold in Boots and it's price is around £4 which is quite cheap for an organic, natural product which does give quite a lot of uses.

Looks+What's It Supposed To Do: The look of the inside of the bottle actually quite scared me and I didn't know what to expect. It has a cloudy layer on top and a yellowy, oily layer at the bottom. Luckily at the back it explains what each of the layers do. The top layer (stated as the 'clear oil phase') is supposed to take off any impurities and makeup even if it's water proof. The bottom layer (stated as 'the aqeous phase') is supposed to soothe the eye area and condition lashes. It says that the bottom layer gets it's colour by hibiscus which is a flower also known as the 'nature's brightness booster'.

Use+How It Works: You have to shake the bottle to mix the two layers together first; this creates a misty, white colour. Then just apply some on your cotton pad/ball and gently massage onto closed eyes. It does get rid of all my makeup without making me look like a clown. You don't need a lot of product to get rid of waterproof formulas. It easily removes makeup without the need to rub a lot, which is good as you don't irritate your eyes as much. It doesn't hurt your eyes but it's very oily. The only worry that I had about this product is that it says that it should avoid contact with eyes, which is a bit hectic as it is supposed to go on your eyes. But don't worry, it doesn't sting or swallow up your eyes so it's completely safe.

Would It Work For You? Even though it says that it's good for all skin types, I don't necessarily that that's the case. I think that if you have dry skin it would work EXTREMELY well for you as it is really oily. You might even want to put it on your whole face for the night, leaving you with smooth, moisturized, not as dry, skin in the morning. But for us combination/oily skin girls, it's just not the best product. If your T-Zone is already oily than this is not for you. The formula of this is too oily and isn't the best when you've got enough oil on your face already. Even though, I have an oily T-Zone, I still use this quite a lot but you just need to remember to wash your face straight after as it give an oily sensation. So far this product didn't give me any break outs and hasn't been damaging for my eyes.

Since this is a natural/organic brand which is really cheap, I will be purchasing and trying out more products from them. I hope you enjoyed this review.☺

Love, Anna.♥
