My First Week of the 28 Day Reset by Blogilates - New Year Diet

Hey there,

Today's blog post is about something that involves my health and my body's needs. I have recently started up a the 28 Day Reset challenge by Blogilates and here I will tell you about my experience with it so far.

There are 5 demanding, yet quite basic rules to the 28 Day Reset:
1. No dairy
2. No gluten
3. No added sugar
3. No processed food
5. No alcohol
The reset also requires you to workout 6 times a week. However, I have not been doing this as I just wanted to test the benefits of the diet and I like to change thing up to the way that they suit me.
So the rules seem pretty basic... Not too surprising. However, when you reread through them you realise that you may have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHAT YOU COULD POSSIBLY EAT!!!

Do not worry guys, I thought the same thing and then realised there is actually quite a few things you can eat. If you want I am more than happy to post a food blog post next on my everyday necessities. Also, Blogilates has a whole PDF about the foods you can eat which helps a bunch when you are out shopping so I would definitely recommend checking that out.

I do realise this looks like baby sick - I promise it was actually good!
So, how has my first week been you ask...
Well, it was actually alright!
I must admit I have constant cravings for chocolate, cakes, sweets (as you can see I have a very sweet tooth), I even have cravings for foods that I would never crave before but all of a sudden, I feel like they are a necessity! My diet is definitely different to the diet of my family members in the house, so it takes a bit of getting used to as I would be usually cooking up something very different from what they are eating. This will also conclude in even more cravings as their food just seems great, and it's the food I've grown to know and love.

I have literally become obsessed with sweet potato chips -
A definate must!

The eating bit out of the way, let's talk about the money spends. As I mentioned, I do not live alone and have found myself buying foods that are much different from the rest of my family. This also means that my mum does not pay for my whole food shop so using my own money makes this a tad more difficult. I also find that fruits and vegetables add up in price SO QUICKLY and also have a very short shelf life, meaning that I have to go shopping more often and spend more each time I go... THIS SUCKS! I have to admit, the spending element of this is defiantly not fun.

On to my actual well-being: as with everything there are positives and negatives and this might go a bit TMI, I'm sorry but I know some of you will want to know the not so pretty details so here goes! This week I had my period, I was scared that it will completely freak out due to the dietary changes my body was experiencing. Luckily, it didn't: my period was just the usual, not heavier, not lighter, not shorter nor longer, just the same usual self. However, the usual side affects that come with the period were different, but in a good way. My usual cramps and bloating were pretty much non existent, and that felt great because the period was no setback. Clearly, I must have been eating something before that my time of the month was not too fond off.. OOPS! I've also felt more energised and like I can do things to my best ability (I am someone that need naps like 24/7 so this was a pleasant awakening). My appetite confuses me slightly.. I usually eat A LOT, hence always overfilling myself (bad, I know), this time I've been eating smaller portions and of different foods, foods that don't have that "I'm full" kick, if you know what I mean. These foods, I found, still make me fill a bit empty after eating, like I should have a chocolate bar or something to finish off. Saying that, I do not feel the need to eat for a lot longer between my meals as the energy is released slowly throughout the day. And now on to the real gross stuff, I used to be constipated quite a lot, and now I seem to have more diarrhoea (something that I would experience about once a year). Obviously, it's not great. Though my theory on this is the change in overall diet which means my body is in a bit of a shocked stage and the increase in fibre which was very sudden, so even though fibre can help loose stools, it can also cause them if it's amount is massively changed.

And since I have forgotten to take pictures of the final meal,
here is a picture of it in my takeaway box -
Also, it wasn't that greasy in person!
And just some extra benefits and disadvantages: my cooking skills have improved (I have not yet burned the house down), my skin is experiencing some positive changes (though I feel like these changes happened before the diet) and in general, I am being healthier and taking better care of my body.

I hope this blog post helped and that some of you will join me on this journey (as it is never too late). If you are doing this reset or are doing another New Year diet/health regime, tell me how it's going below.

Have a wonderful day,
Anna.xo

Driving Test Success Anytime

Hey there,

So today, I want to talk about DTS Anytime. For those of you who don't know what this is, it is a theory driving test help website. I am just quickly going to start this off by saying that I am by no means sponsored by them and they have not contacted me to make this post (it is all my own doing).

Let's start from the basics, I first heard of this website from Fabulous Hannah on YouTube as I knew that I was soon planning on getting my provisional licence and she has recently started driving vlogs and was sponsored by the company. Naturally, I became very interested and began to read more about it.

The day that I received my licence I automatically decided to sign up for the program. I brought the 6 months revision (which came at the cost of £10 which is pretty great if you ask me!) pack. On the day, I visited the introduction video, which helped me understand the requirements to getting the actual driving licence better. I will make a video on this soon.

Over the last week or so, I have been reading the questions and then doing my own mock tests. The website is great for this as it gives you a whole load of questions (which are DVLA approved, meaning that very similar ones will come up on the tests, but worded slightly differently). To actually learn the topics, you get full access to the Highway Code book, as well as practice questions that come with the answers in them.
So as the questions are multiple choice (choice of 4 answers), as you are learning, you get the question and the ticked off answer for each. This is the learning process and consists of both memory and common sense. After that, you can take a test on the particular topic you have covered and see how solid you are with these questions.

So far, I have done pretty well in the practices, even though I have not done as much learning. Hence, making me believe that the website is pretty great. They have so many practice questions and practice tests for you to do, you are quite spoilt for choice, no matter how much preparation you want to do.

Furthermore, the website contains hundreds of hazard perception videos to help you out on the second part of the theory test. They also have short clips to help you before you start your driving lessons and driving tests. For your driving lessons, they have a map with all of your local driver teachers so that you are aware who can teach you close by. I have not yet used these features but I am certain that they will come in handy in due course.

I also have their app downloaded on my phone (which is free) and I do even more practice questions on there. Or you can simply open the website on any of the devices you have at home or with you and learn anywhere.

Overall, I have really enjoyed and recommend it for all you that are looking for a way to learn towards the licence.
I hope you have an awesome New Year,

Getting a UK Provisional Driving License: How long does it take and how much does it cost?

Hi everyone and welcome,

Today, I have officially received my provisional driving license and so I decided to give you some extra information on the whole process up to this point.

I have applied for this licence on the 3rd of December, this was one day after my 18 birthday and I know you can get it from the age of 17 but I decided to wait until I felt more ready and comfortable about it. I did an online application which involved just writing all of the necessary, usual details and giving a payment. [This is for the UK driving licence and if you want to apply press HERE and it will take you straight to the appellation website.] The payment I made was £34, when applying through the post this payment is higher (so I would recommend applying online for both the payment and the convenience).

On the 9th, I received a letter from DVLA (Driver andVehicle Licensing Agency), so it came in just under a week. In the letter was a form which consisted of three very basic sections. Due to the fact that I do not have a British passport, I had to compete a separate section which involved me having to send my passport to DVLA. The other parts were just giving your signature and a picture of yourself (an appropriate ID picture). I completed this form and sent it along with my passport on the 12th. In order to send it,I went to the post office, weighed the letter and asked for appropriate postage considering that I have an important document in there. The letter weighed quite a bit due to my passport and I got first class trackable postage which costed an extra £6.45.

Today, the 22nd, I have received my driving licence. 10 days after posting my photo and under 3 weeks from original application and with just over £40 I'm finally here. I have not yet received my passport back as that comes in a separate letter, but I will update you all on when I receive this.

UPDATE: It's been a day since I received my provisional and now I have gotten my passport back (:

Many thanks for reading and follow to get notified when I post my next driving blog post,

I've Changed and I'm Sorry!

Dear all,

I am sorry. I am not the greatest person to be trusted with the time to write blog posts and take part in other social media platforms frequently. From a busy social life, to an even busier education. It's not a great time to trust me and write blog posts.

So, I am not going to make any promises, but I will be writing some more stuff on here - I say stuff as I don't really know what to call it and an online diary doesn't really cut it for me either.

As you know I started this a long time ago, and people change: people grow, and so I am slightly done with "Beauty Addict Anna" and want to start again as just another Anna. This does not mean I have given up for my love of all things makeup and skincare - HELL NO! However, I want to use this blog as a platform not only to help you with your beauty issues but to help with more lifestyle problems as well.

I am in the process of picking a university to put as my firm choice and getting a driving licence. I want to happily share all of these things with you. However, due to the name of the blog (which I believe I cannot change), I feel slightly restricted. I didn't want to leave this community though and so I am biting the bullet and posting anything and everything on here.

This isn't a complete end to "Beauty Addict Anna" but a semi beginning to a more life experienced Anna and I hope you all stick around,

Dealing With Depression

Hey!
Today I want to talk about a more serious topic that I never thought I would be willing to discuss on social medias anywhere... And that topic is depression.

Depression is something very personal to many people, a vast majority of those also don't know they have it. I guess I've wanted to post about this because I believe it is an important topic in today's society and it became something that is now more spoken about, which is great!

Over the years I've went through different fazes of depression. Sometimes they were mild and I just felt s#*t all day but I could still go about my everyday life as normal. Sometimes they were moderate, like for the past week, where I managed to smile and pretend it's all good but the second I get into my room or someone says something, even a word, that doesn't feel right to me, I just start crying. And sometimes they were pretty hardcore, where I wouldn't be able to go to bed at night without crying for weeks in a row and I would excuse myself from leaving the house.

Right now, I'm going through a moderate faze of depression. I've cried several times today and I am super sensitive to what anyone says and does. The worst thing about it is that when I feel like this I tend to want everything my way, and if it doesn't go like that I turn into a hugeness of tears, and I get annoyed at people really easily. This has made those people angry at me because they don't understand what I'm going through and I'm too afraid to admit that to them myself. Following up from that, I get more angry at myself for being like this and I just start crying, because getting arguments in times like this really isn't great.

Now I'm not saying of this because I want you to feel sorry for me or I want to gain attention. I am saying this for yours and mine benefit. I say 'yours' because I feel like if any of you are feeling like this, I want you to know that you're not crazy and you are not alone. I really hope that this posts at least helps one of you to feel that it's ok to cry and to be angry and to be an emotional wreck - It's not a crime. I also 'mine' because people always say that speaking about it is the best solution and even-though I don't really want to talk about it to my family/friends, it helps me to at least write down what I'm feeling and get some of those emotions out there.

What can you do to stop this and help yourself or someone that is going through a similar thing?

Well, sadly there's not too much, I wish I could tell you one solution that truly works in seconds and is guaranteed for everyone, but I can't. I can however tell you all this:

It's good to talk to somebody. This makes me sound and bit hypocritical. But it's true, during previous 'fazes', I have discussed this with my mum and I found that talking helps. If you don't want to talk to someone, I understand. You can try writing it in a journal or maybe even on a blog; just find a way to get your feelings up and stop them from dwelling inside of you.

Get a hobby. I find that at times like these I feel the least motivated to do anything. However, I also feel like photography helps. So yes, I may struggle to get out of bed and I may hate the fact that I need to interact with the outside world, but I think a hobby such as photography helps to get your mind off things.

Go outside. As I said, the thought interacting with the outside world  may be dreadful, but the fact is you don't really need to interact at all. Just go out, put on some headphones (try opting for more upbeat songs) and go for a walk, sit in a park, sniff some flowers... Anything! You'd be surprised at what the outside has to offer. You can even take out a book and sit on a quite bench and just enjoy yourself.

And last but not least, give it time and cry it out. Sometimes crying can be good, just get rid of all of those tears inside you and see how much better and refreshed you will feel afterwards. Whether you cry for 5 minutes or for weeks, you'll get through this with time. And trust me, after you're done with it, you will feel amazing and really start appreciating life more.

I hope this post helped some of you and if there is anything you take from this, it would be:

it may feel like a struggle now but you will push through this and it'll feel better than ever!
Till next time,

My Top 5 Summer Skincare Essentials!

Hey! Summer is here and I know a lot of you have just started you holiday. Today, I decided to give you some of my skincare essentials to get you summer ready!

1. Nivea Sun Protect & Refresh
Lets get the boring stuff out of the way first. SPF is so important in the summer and I love this Nivea sun protection mist. My one doesn't have the highest SPF, but when you're in England, the sun doesn't say 'Hi' as often. However I would recommend getting a higher SPF for better protection. I love this because I hate applying lotions in the summer, I find that they can leave me feeling sticky and sweaty. This was one of the main reasons why SPF was never really my thing. However, this mist is great as it is also cooling so it's a great refresh for when you're on the beach. Another great thing about it is that it is water resistant so if you're around some water, this is a great product to have around! The only negative that I have to mention is the smell. It has quite a strong floral scent that tends to linger for a bit, so it may interfere with your perfumes. I personally love the smell but I know some people may not be the biggest fans of it.

2. Garnier Summer Body Moisturising Lotion
This product says to give you a sun-kissed look and it contains tanning particles so that you can develop a light gradual tan. I really like this as it does provide some extra glow and colour to the skin and as for someone that never got into tanning because it genuinely frightens me, this is a great alternative. It is a gradual tan so I recommend applying it once a day for a couple of days to see results. Don't apply for too many days as it may actually get patchy - at least that's what happened to me but it wasn't really visible as it just happened in areas such as elbows. I would also recommend the darker bottle of this because even though I am as pale as paper, the colour isn't very visible. Furthermore, I'd say you should apply this at night, purely because I ring some parts of my body feeling quite sticky after application. Apart from that, I've really enjoyed using this product and would definitely recommend it.

3. Soap and Glory Scrub of your Life
I would recommend any scrub really but this is one that I've enjoyed using lately. It smells gorgeous as with most Soap and Glory products and leaves you feeling super smooth. This particular scrub has small pink particles which help exfoliate your skin. I believe that they may feel a bit harsh on sensitive skin, but that doesn't mean that if you have sensitive skin you should run from it, it just means that you should be more gentle. Scrubs are great in the summer and they help me out a lot. They can help to increase the staying power of your tan and make shaving/waxing a lot easier.

4. Simple Kind to Skin Vital Vitamin Day Cream
I didn't think that this would have been in my summer essentials blogpost, purely because it is quite thick and as you've probably guessed, I prefer much lighter consistencies during the summer. However, this cream has been great for me, it has light-no fragrance and it congaing SPF 15, which isn't very high but at least it's something. It sinks in to the skin super quickly and makes it feel really moisturised during the day without being sticky which I love. It is also a great base for makeup as it smooths out the skin nicely.

5. Simple Kind to Skin Deep Cleansing Face Mask
The last product is also from Simple and it is a face mask. I absolutely love this and I've never tried anything like it. It feels really nice and hydrating on the skin and it layers in a white/transparent layer. The mask doesn't dry so you can feel free to talk and eat without it doing everywhere and cracking; though you probably won't have to as its very quick (3 minutes) which is great when you're on the go. It's a mess free face mask that leaves your skin feeling soft and plump!

So that is it for my top summer skincare essentials, I hope you enjoyed this little run down of products and found it useful. If you have any summer skincare essentials that you'd want others to know about tell me about them below!

Till next time,

Starting Blogging Again and New Blogging Schedule!

Hey!

I don't really know how to start this blogpost, so I'll just leave the intro with a 'hey'... Life's been a bit hectic lately and my social medias weren't exactly the first thing on my mind. But I'm back and I have a plan for a new beginning!

I've been wanting to write this blogpost for a while and now I've finally planned it all out! I really want to start blogging again, but something that I don't want to do is get lost and not knowing when to write, what to write about is me feeling lost. I feel like I can stop this however and here is how; I've planned out a weekly schedule for my blogposts and I want to share it with you all. Here's my plan:

Get Beautifying Monday!
DIY Tuesday!
Photography Wednesday!
Lets inspire Thursday!
Back to the beauty Friday!
Blog like a Vlog Saturday!
Something new Sunday!

Now let me give you more detail on some of these:

Get Beautifying Monday! I've created this blog to talk about beauty, hence its name, so I gathered it would only be right to start off with some beauty. This will range from reviews and hauls to favourites and essentials.

DIY Tuesday! I wanted to start more DIYs, I've always enjoyed looking at DIYs but I've never actually sat down and got the stuff in order to do them. I hope this will push me to do those more. Aside from just everyday DIYs, I will also happily post cooking and baking posts and some house decor.

Photography Wednesday! I've also gotten back into photography which makes me so happy as it has always been a hobby of mine but I lost the inspiration for a while. On Wednesday, I shall post different photographs that I've taken over the week, tell you any photography tips I may have, talk about photography equipment and give you some pointers when editing photos.

Lets inspire Thursday! I am a person that loses inspiration quickly and I always need something to keep me going. Thursdays will be the days where I might post a minor rant, but try to make sure that the message behind it is worth it. On this day I want to make you think and put a smile on your face.

Back to the beauty Friday! As I mentioned earlier this blog started with beauty in mind so I feel the need to have another beauty day. This may also invoke some style inspiration, OOTDs, celebrity get the looks, routines and much more!

Blog like a Vlog Saturday! I have stopped with my YouTube channel for the time being. I want to focus more on school and blogging and video making takes a lot of my time away. However, that doesn't mean that I won't want to tell you what is happening in my life. Saturdays will be like blogs, but with words and pictures.

Something new Sunday! Sundays will be different every time because they will contain any extras that I didn't manage to categorise, whether these are challenges or just sentimental posts. These are also the days where I want you to join in and tell me what you'd like to see... Be creative with your ideas!

I gave you a rundown of all of the different days of the week and their themes. This doesn't mean I will be posting everyday of the week. It just means that my content will depend on what day of the week I post. Some weeks you might get 5 blogposts a week, some weeks you might only get one. It all depends on my schedule.

So what do you guys think? Yay or nay? I really hope you're all as excited as I am for this new chapter!
Till next time,
Anna.xo

Happy New Year!!!

Welcome to a New Year!

2014 has been an eventful year for all of us. Some will remember it by the negative memories, and hopefully a lot of us will remember it for the positive memories and the new relationships that were made and discovered. Most of us have probably lost a friend or someone that was close to us, but most of us have also gained a friend who is now someone very special to us. Now as we let 2014 disappear into the distance, we welcome 2015 with open hands. There were quite a few of very special moments this year...

As a community, this year we have reached 100 subs. I would never be able to do this without you all. We are starting this year with almost 150 Dubletts! That is crazy because even though it might not seem like a lot to most of you, it actually means so much to me. So, thank you for all the support and recognition from all of you.

I've also got into contact with a few more people in the YouTube community and made friends with some of the other girls on YouTube. I even made good friends with some of you, which makes me really happy as talking to you all is a pleasure!

Some of my favourite moments of 2014 were going to Italy to visit my dad as there was just something special about it and I felt very privileged to be able to spend my summer in such a beautiful place. I spent the summer with my closest family and it really made me happy. I also had a weekend away with my best friend in Brighton where we stayed in the hotel and had a view of the Brighton Eye. We spent most of the time at the beach and came back with really bad sunburns, but I guess that's all part of the fun! Make sure to wear suncream because that shall save you all from having to stay in bed for a few days in pain. It was a weekend that I won't forget as it was very special.

I ended the year on a positive note and on quite some good luck. My december was actually amazing and everything worked out the way I'd want it to so thank you to those who made this month special to me as I always see it as one of my most important time of the year with my birthday and Christmas and New Year's Eve. It was also the time of hard work, revision and many exams over the course of the first two weeks. Now it's just a waiting game to get my results at some time this month.

There was a time this year when I felt crumpled and all I wanted to do is stay in bed, not talk to anyone and just watch videos and be miserable. Hence, the reason why I took a pause from YouTube. I am planning to start regular uploads as my life is going back into place, first though, I need to get myself another SD card!

I think this is all I'd like to tell you about my year, I would love to know your highlights of the year and how you made this year memorable so please make sure to tell me below. As for 2015, I decided that I don't want New Year's resolution apart from taking life how it is given to me. I think a lot of the time we don't live to the fullest and we might take a day for granted, I don't want that happening this year. I want to have something to be happy about at the end of each day and be able to reflect positively on each month of the year. I want to stop being worried and scared about every decision, I just want to take it and make something good out of it. I don't want to end this year on a regret and on a 'What if...'

Is there anything that you would like to achieve this year, any goals? Tell me about them and make your deems a reality. I love you all and hope you all have an awesome heart!

We need to talk...

Heyoo!

I am aware of the fact that I haven't posted a video in a few weeks.. Damn, I need to get my shibbles together! But one thing I wanted to do is reassure you that I didn't actually 'stop'.

So a few weeks ago, I had some trouble with thinking about a video idea, after finding a new tag, I thought of a few video ideas for the upcoming weeks. Sadly, I just couldn't seem to film them as it didn't feel 'me'. I decided that I wanted to take a small break to see where my videos were going to lead to next and to think about what I want to deliver to all of you as I want it to be enjoyable for you but I also want to look back at them and be proud of what I have produced. Lately, even in my everyday life, I haven't felt like myself because outside of youtube, I have a life which is great but at times everything can lead up to a moment where you don't want to show your true self in case others are going to judge you for it or that you would look weak. Everytime before a video, I had to put up a fake smile and pretend everything was perfect whilst knowing that the second that the camera stopped rolling, everything will go back to normal. I am not willing to talk about my personal life online because I'd feel like I'm begging for mercy, plus it's something that is personal and involves me and others around me who might also not appriaciate me telling everyone what is going on. As I saw that my videos seemed fake throughout time and my sense of humour lowered and I saw that things weren't as happy and 'right' in the newer videos than in the older ones, I decided that I deserved a time-out. I needed to take a pause from everything because I realised that I'm doing too much at a time. I'm a VERY tiny youtuber which seems like it would be really easy for me and it is actually quite easy, all I have to do is dedicate a day per week for filming and editing and a night for uploading, not the hardest job in the world. However, that, keeping my grades up, revising for mocks, doing coursework, keeping my family 'under control', keeping up with doctors appointmens, hospitals and my overall health is quite challenging.

Lately, everything seems to be going up-hill; my family seems happier, I'm taking medicine and arranging appointments, I'm up to date with most of my coursework, I've had several talks with GPs and psychologists which made me feel at ease and I stopped stressing about every little thing as much. This is all great and I want to thank anyone who took an active part in making me feel better.

So, where does this lead to now? In December, I am approaching more mock exams and coursework deadlines so I have some hard work to do till then. It's also my birthday on the 2nd, on the day I have an English exam... Great(!). After that, Christmas will be coming and I can't wait to feel the Christmas spirit agin. I am thinking of vlogging some of it and making a short Christmas video but I'm still not 100% sure whether that's a good idea given the family circumstances at the moment. If I do, I will put it on YouTube so you might get a video then, but if not then you'll have to wait till 2015. Later, it's New Years, which is a both exciting and sad time of the year for me as it makes me reflect on the whole year, all the positives and all the negatives.

After the new year though, I am planning to start my weekly videos again, hopefully as myself but who knows what could change until then. I can't wait to see what another year of my YouTube will bring. Until then, I will not upload as I'll try to sort out everything else that's going on in my life. I hope you all understand my choices and respect my decisions. I do apologise for any problems this might cause but I promise to get back to it with a positive attitude.

I love you all,
Byee!

Meeting Alfie Deyes and getting my Pointless Book signed!

Heyoo!

As many of you know, Alfie (PointlessBlog) has done a signing in London on Saturday. I was lucky enough to be able to attend and explore the whole thing! It was a very exciting experience for me as I've been watching him for three years and he meant a lot to me as I've seen him progress in his career. Here's a bit more about the day!

I was rearing to go as it was my first ever time that I was going to go to a book signing and meet a YouTuber. As I live 30 mins away from the venue, I decided to set my alarm to 7am (the meetup was meant to start at 12). I got dressed and ready and was out the door by 8. My nerves id get the better of me though and I got a massive belly-ache before going so I only ate a few chocolate fingers (bad idea).

When I arrived there, there was already quite a few people there, none-the-less, I was still super proud of myself for being there that early and being brave enough to attend by myself. I sat in the line next to two very nice girls and made quite good friends with them, we spoke the whole day talking. After arounf half-an-hour, the men at the venue told us to get up and sent us over to another hall where we got wristbands and got into groups of 50 (I got put into group 6 with the other two lovely ladies). We spent a long time chatting and doing different challenges from The Pointless Book. We also sneaked in a little trip to a burger company and got some fries.

At around 2pm, Alfie came out on stage and did a mini Q&A which was very exciting as I wasn't able to see him up close, apart from a few times when he'd show himself through a little window at the top and even gave us a sneaky preview of his nipple (TMI there?). He spent some time on stage which lowered my nerves slightly as I was more prepared to be put in a room with him.

However, when it was finally our turn (and 8hours of waiting has gone past), I was totally terrified and my anxiety was kicking in! I remember standing in the line and talking to the two girls and completely freaking out! What was I going to say? How was I going to act? Is it okay to cry? I felt my legs wobble as I made my way up the stairs. When I finally got there it seemed like everything went so fast and it literally just flew by. When Alfie spoke to me, I could hardly speak but I managed to mutter a few words under my breath. I also managed not to cry, although I did feel tears building up. When I got out of the room I wanted to cry even more but decided to keep it in until I got home (where I literally cried for 4 hours straight).

Yes, I'm an obsessive fan girl but I just felt so privileged and felt like I was a part of something. Being able to support someone is the best feeling in the world and seeing him happy, makes me happy. I know this is cliché but he genuinely changed my life and made me see things differently. I feel like I belong in this whole YouTube community, both as a YouTuber... But most importantly a supporter!

Did any of you ever go through massive fangirl moments? Tell me below!

How to keep your skin looking top tip during those dreadful teenage years?

Hello!

So, we all know how hard it is to keep clear skin, especially during the teenage years... Oh those hormones :( However, there are some tips and tricks that I use to try to leave my skin looking as nice as possible;

1. It's so important to wash your face twice a day, morning and evening.. This is so that any sweat glands get away (especially in the summer season) and that nothing can clog up your ghastly pores! If you exercise a lot during your day (something I should do a lot more of), then feel free to wash your face more than twice (and tell me how you cope with exercise), however, avoid over-washing your face as that can lead to you stripping all the oils off your face (that might seem like a good thing for now, but you'll thank me later). You don't want to strip your face of its natural oils as it will result in your face wanting to produce more of those oils, therefore causing oilier, more acne-prone skin.

2. Keep it SIMPLE! <-- see what I did there (argh, cheesy). But seriously, it might seem like all those fun-sounding, long, hard-to-read ingredients will do miracles for your skin but you might not know what your skin will react badly to or how sensitive your skin might be. If you do have a hormonal breakout, it is a lot better to let your skin soak in the natural ingredient (like the ones in Simple product, and I'm not just saying that). Try using coconut oil instead of a very heavy cleanser, try aloe vera get instead of your acne cream, try a home-made face-mask... whatever flows your boat I don't judge. A lot of the time it is so much more fun to do some cool skin DIYs. At the end of the day, Cleopatra had awesome skin and I bet ya that none of those weird substances were invented back in her day!

Coconut oil is the secret ingredient in my skin-care routine!

3. Make-up free days!? Something that no girl wants to hear about when they're skin is feeling under the weather. But it's true, they help.. They help a lot! So, let your skin breath and it'll thank you later. Maybe find some awesome movies to watch throughout the day or just go to a park and read a book. This could also give you a boost of confidence and a confident person equals to a beautiful person. So embrace your flaws and let the haters hate <-- another cliché line? Great.
Work it naturally! I was going through a very good skincare moment there!

4. I make sure to use a gentle facial scrub 2-3 times a week to get rid of any dead skin cells. Be gentle though, this isn't a war! I also love using face masks once a week, and I know both of these might make no sense after me saying that you should keep try and keep it natural, but hey, you have to treat your skin once a week. If you aren't willing to try a home-made face-mask then why not buy one from the shop, they work great as well! Although, home-made once aren't hard to make either (if you want me to do a blog-post on some home-made face-mask recipes than tell me in the comments) and a lot of their time their better for the skin!

I always find myself  looking rather moody when having a face-mask on... Hmm..

There are many more tips I can give you but as for now, I hope this is enough… And remember, if all else fails, concealer will be your BFF! ;)
Here's a concealer that I love using at the moment!

Have a wonderful day and I hope to see you all next time,

Photography from Poland.♥

Hello Everyone!

Happy Easter Monday!

I really wanted to make a blog post today but I had no idea about what.. Then I figured out that I'd do a repetition of last year's blog post and show you my time in Poland. As some of you know, I went to Poland for 10 days during my Easter break. It was really fun because I spent a lot of time with the whole of my family which doesn't happen very often. I got to go back to my childhood home and see various places that my mum grew up in. Enough me, on to the pictures. All of them are taken in around the same areas - Torun and beyond.

Just a little hideaway behind the cathedral

The water's literally everywhere!

Victor being all happy

Just a little something something

An old building in Torun

A little, colourful, random street

Another building

And more

A little market place

Two frogs, one pigeon

Here's some more lakes
And more lakes
Guess what.. Yep more lakes

A little cute vintage restaurant
My grandma's so lucky to have this view from her window... Miss living there :(
That's it. I hope you all enjoyed this little blog post and tell me if you want me to do more photography blog posts since I find them really fun!

What's New?

Heyoo!

Yes, it is me again... So, I wanted to give you a little update on my life since I haven't been blogging for what feels like forever!

First of all, I uploaded 2 more videos since I last blogged.. So here they are:

The first video is about why I haven't uploaded and a little update.. Basically it is this blog post, so if you feel like you want to listen to my annoying voice instead of reading then you are more than welcome to! The second one is all about haircare and skincare products! It's a haul! So, go check it out if you are feeling fancy and nosey and are interested in any of the things I am currently using!

Now onto why I don't update you all so regularly:
I don't really know where to begin to be honest, I guess there's just been a lot of things happening in my life that I had to refrain from social media... I have been extremely busy and whenever I tend to have a bit of free time, I don't feel like just being on the computer.. I'd much rather spend those few free moments with my family and friends, going shopping or pampering so it's been really hard for me to keep up.. As you'd see, I haven't kept up with any of my social medias. Also, just as I thought that I could improve everything, my editing software broke down and I had to get a new one.

This break doesn't mean that I'm going to stop making videos, it just means that it'll be hard for me for the next few months. Also, I am going to Poland on Wednesday so I won't be able to update you for some time. I hope you all understand this.

If I am unable to make a blog post before Easter than I hope you all have an awesome Easter, and if you don't celebrate Easter, than have an awesome holiday. :)

As, for now,

Byeee.♥

2014 is here.. Well came here around 26 days ago haha! New year video!

Hello Everyone!

First of all, I wanted to thank you all for 70 subscriber as it means so much to me! I hope you all had an amazing new year and did something really fun. I've been off sick for the past week and was going in and out of hospitals but don't hate me for that... I hope to get back on track with my videos soon, however at the moment it has been a struggle since I've got so many things happening. I really cannot wait to spend 2014 with all of you and maybe get a chance to meet some of you. I hope we expand our little family and get to know each other better. You should never be scared to message me, email me or ask me questions on the comments of my videos as I am so happy to answer them for you and chit chat with you. This year I want to not only do beauty videos but also include some more fun ones like Q&A's or cooking!

Moving on from all of the cheesiness... I have recently posted a new video which was a 'New Year's Tag' I got tagged by a YouTube friend of mine, Veronica. Her channel is linked in my description box of the video so please check her out as she is very entertaining!

I hope you enjoy the video,

Heeey!

I am back againg with Victor and today I do his makeup. For anyone wondering, he did agree to do this with me and doesn't put makeup on and this was just a revenge, so please no homophobic language. Also sorry for the blurry part at the beginning.. I totally forgot to put my camera in focus. But don't worry, it gets better!

Have an amazing week, Anna.♥

My Birthday || Winter Wonderland || Hunger Games: Catching Fire || T.G.I Friday || A little Update!

Hello!

Last week I didn't upload a video because I was pretty busy sorting out all of my birthday events. Here's little bits in depth about each one!

Winter Wonderland:

On Saturday, me and a couple of my friend visited Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park. It was such a fun experience and I've never been to  place like this with this group of friends.. But it was awesome! We went on many rides and I would definately recommend the 'Wilde Maus Coaster' as it was brilliant. There were also so many fun activities all around and so many good shops but they costed a fortyne! (I woukd recommend saving up before-hand). Another cool attraction was the '5D Cinema' You heard me 5D!! It was so fun; the chairs were moving, wind was blowing, bubbles were popping! It was an amazing experiance and I wish I could relive it all again! If you want to go ice skating, I'd recommend ordering it online as when we got there, the places were full. Overall, I really enjoyed looking around Hyde Park and feeling so Christmas-y! You should go there as early as possible because there are huge crowds at around 2/3 pm.

Hunger Games: Catching Fire!

I went to the cinema on sunday with a few of my ther friends to watch catching fire.. And I must say that it was EPIC!I didn't really understand the hype about this movie until I watched it. I think I liked it more than the 1st one, which is really weird because usually the 1st movie is the best. I seriously can't wait for them to release a third movie (which I hope they will because the books are aleay written). I liked that something was always happening and you couldn't get your eyes off the screen for 1 minute. I really didn't like the ending because mysteries get me annoyed but I don't want to ruin anything for those of you who haven't watched it. But you all need to go and see it!

T.G.I Friday:
I wish I could start this off by 'On Friday...' but I can't. On Monday (when it was my Birthday), two of my friends organised a get together to T.G.I. Friday and it was my first time being there.. Let's just let that sink in. I know, shocker! But the food there was amazing and tasted delicious! The serving size is huge and no matter how much you eat, you'll still be full.. I mean it! I would recommenf you trying out the Jack Daniel's ribs as they are very tasty and the sauce is perfection! Thank you to the two amazing ladies that made this day special and I love you both!

So there.. I hope you enjoyed this blog post and the pictures from winter wonderland. Have an awesome day!
